Tips for success
For the best texture, use frozen peaches instead of fresh if you have them. They blend into a thicker, colder smoothie without needing as much ice.
If using fresh peaches, make sure they are fully ripe—they should yield slightly to gentle pressure. You can also freeze the peach wedges for 30 minutes before blending to get a frostier result.
To make the vanilla white chocolate curls, chill the chocolate bar in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before grating. This helps it grate into clean, long curls instead of crumbling.
If the curls start to melt in your hands, return the chocolate to the fridge for a few minutes. Use a light touch and grate over a bowl to catch all the pieces.
Variations
- Berry Swap: Replace the raspberries with sliced strawberries or a mix of blueberries and blackberries. Adjust the sweetness to taste, as some berries are tarter than others. The color will shift from golden to pink or purple, but the creamy texture remains.
- Extra Vanilla: Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract or the seeds from half a vanilla bean to intensify the vanilla flavor. This pairs beautifully with the white chocolate curls and makes the smoothie taste even more like a dessert.
- Peach Melba Smoothie Bowl: Use only 1/4 cup of milk and add an extra 1/2 cup of ice cream to make the smoothie very thick. Pour into a bowl and top with granola, sliced peaches, raspberries, and extra chocolate curls. Eat with a spoon for a hearty breakfast.
- Almond Crunch: Sprinkle toasted sliced almonds over the whipped cream along with the white chocolate curls. The nuts add a pleasant crunch and a nutty flavor that complements the peaches and vanilla. For a nut-free version, use crushed vanilla cookies instead.
Storage and make-ahead
- Fridge
- Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Stir well before serving; it may separate slightly.
- Freezer
- Freeze the smoothie in popsicle molds for a frozen treat, or pour into a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month. Thaw slightly before serving.
- Reheat
- Not applicable.
This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately after blending, as it will separate and thin out over time. If you must store it, keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking. The whipped cream and chocolate curls should be added just before serving to maintain their texture.
You can prep the ingredients ahead of time: slice the peaches, clean the raspberries, and grate the white chocolate. Store the peach wedges in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The chocolate curls can be kept in a cool, dry place for up to a week. When ready to serve, simply blend everything together and garnish.
Serving ideas
Serve this smoothie as a refreshing breakfast or brunch drink, especially on a warm morning. The combination of fruit and yogurt makes it satisfying enough to stand alone, but it also pairs well with a light pastry or a slice of toast.
For a more indulgent presentation, serve in a tall crystal glass with a long spoon for the thick texture.
For dessert, pour the smoothie into smaller glasses and top with extra whipped cream and a drizzle of honey or raspberry sauce.
The vanilla white chocolate curls add a festive touch that makes it suitable for special occasions like bridal showers or afternoon tea. Garnish each glass with a fresh mint leaf for a pop of color, if desired.

Peach Melba Smoothie with Vanilla Cream Swirl

Ingredients
- 2 ripe golden peaches, sliced and diced
- 1 cup fresh raspberries, cleaned
- 2 oz vanilla bean white chocolate, grated into curls
- 2 cups vanilla bean ice cream
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup ice cubes
- whipped cream, for topping, to taste
- peach slice, for garnish, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the ripe golden peaches in half, remove the pits, and cut the flesh into thick wedges, then dice some of the wedges into smaller pieces. Clean the fresh raspberries by gently rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel. Grate the vanilla bean white chocolate on the large holes of a box grater into a fresh pile of curls and set aside.
- Measure out the vanilla bean ice cream, Greek yogurt, milk, and ice cubes. Have all the ingredients ready by the blender. Reserve a few peach wedges and raspberries for garnishing the finished smoothie.
- Add the peach wedges, vanilla bean ice cream, Greek yogurt, milk, and ice cubes into a glass blender pitcher. Lock the lid securely in place. Blend on high until the mixture is thick and swirling, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed. Continue blending until completely smooth and velvety.
- Pour the thick velvety smoothie from the blender pitcher into a crystal glass or tall serving glasses. Finish each glass with a generous swirl of whipped cream, a scattering of fresh raspberries, and a peach slice on the rim. Sprinkle the vanilla white chocolate curls over the top just before serving.
